Good morning everyone. It's Will Wednesday here in the A.M. report. Hope everyone has had a pleasant morning thus far, and I'll attempt to make it better for you with some Tar Heel headlines for the day.

Help send Myroslav to Chapel Hill

Myroslav Golodinsky is a huge Tar Heel fan in Ukraine, and he wants to make the pilgrimage to the Smith Center to see the Tar Heels play. And you can help! Myroslav has established an indiegogo campaign to make the trip.

Diamond Heels

Tar Heel duo Brett Daniels, and Josh Hiatt both threw in the Orleans Firebirds win last night. The win gave the Firebirds a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Division final of the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Pro Style

Two Tar Heels got some good news regarding the NFL yesterday.
Lucas Crowley was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, much to the delight of Saints linebacker, and former teammate Jeff Schoettmer.
The hero of the Tar Heels come-from-behind victory over the Pittsburgh Panthers last fall, Bug Howard, drew high praise for his play in the Indianapolis Colts training camp

Go Heels, Go America

Team USA field hockey, led by a bevy of former Tar Heels, came away with a 1-1 tie against Canada in their first game at the. 2017 Pan American Cup.
Recent UNC graduate Julia Young played a critical role in keeping the game even.

"We talkin' 'bout Practice"

UNC volleyball started practice yesterday The Tar Heels were unanimously chosen to repeat as ACC champs, and figure to be a fun team to watch this fall.

UNC soccer star Cam Lindley was named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

Miller makes Progress

Cleveland Indians star reliever, Andrew Miller, is recovering well from his stint on the DL. Miller played a large part in the Indians World Series run a year ago, and they will need him healthy if they intend to go deep into this playoffs in 2017.
