Good morning folks! My name is Sam Doughton, and I am an assistant editor here at Argyle Report. I want to thank y'all personally for joining us during our launch week. We've been overwhelmed by the amount of support in these first few days, and we hope to continue to provide you with top quality coverage of all of Carolina Athletics.
Below, we have links to our roundup of quotes from Training Camp, and a discussion with women's soccer coach Anson Dorrance. Coming up later today on Argyle Report, we'll have the debut of our Marching Tar Heels column, a story on tight end Brandon Fritts and a look at UNC's men's soccer program.
For everything else UNC, here's your daily roundup of all things Tar Heel across the web. Thanks for stopping by!
Training Camp Roundup
Can't get enough Tar Heel training camp content? Here's some of the most notable quotes Argyle Report compiled from media availability on Tuesday.
Women's Soccer reloads for 2017
2016's senior class became the first senior class in nearly 40 years to not win a national title in their four years at Carolina. But with several players coming onto the roster after playing internationally last year, this year's squad could have all the pieces to lift the trophy. Jeremy Vernon has the story.
From Final Four to Preseason Top Four
The North Carolina men's soccer team debuted at No. 4 yesterday in the United Soccer Coaches poll, one of three ACC teams in the Top 5 and one of six in the Top 10.
Neuenfeldt is off to France
Former Tar Heel volleyball standout and All-American Paige Neuenfeldt recently signed a professional contract with Volley-Ball Club Chamalières in France. Located in central France, about four hours south of Paris, Charmalières was promoted last season to the top flight of French Volleyball for the 2017-18 season. GoHeels has more details here.
"Preseason? We talkin' about the preseason?"
The NFL preseason opened last night with the Hall of Fame Game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboy and former UNC wideout Ryan Switzer sat out the game, but former Tar Heel tailback TJ Logan rushed for four times for 24 yards, took a pair of kickoff returns an average of 35 yards, and had the punt return linked below in the 3rd quarter.

"Go Where You Go and Do What You Do"
Starting today, the Durham family is selling T-shirts with former voice of the Tar Heels Woody Durham's signature phrase at Chapel Hill Sportswear on Franklin Street. All profits from the shirts will go to fund Aphasia research and programs. WRAL has more details here.
