Good morning everyone, Will here to bring you the Wednesday Tar Heel news.

Only two days now until the athletic season kicks off as the Women's soccer team hosts Duke at WakeMed Soccer park in Cary.

Today, be on the lookout for your weekly Argyle playlist, and a Tar Heel fantasy guide from David Allen.
Also, be sure to check out Turner Walston's story about Marie McCool. It's good stuff.

Thanks for reading Argyle A.M. today and every weekday!

I recapped the Tar Heel baseball performances across the summer circuit. Check it out here.

Fantasy Frenzy

ESPN had their annual fantasy marathon yesterday, signaling the unofficial start of fantasy draft season. Check out this story on the top fantasy performances of former UNC running backs, and also be ready for a piece by David Allen on which Tar Heels to target in your fantasy draft.

Scarpa, Wubben-Moy honored early.

Two UNC soccer players were given preseason honors yesterday by TopDrawerSoccer.com. Jeremy Vernon has the scoop, here.

Par for the Coach

The Tar Heels golf team introduced their new assistant coach, and are very excited about this hire.

Quinn makes statement

Robert Quinn continues to make a splash in the NFL, both during games and before. He was interviewed after raising his fist during the national anthem in the Los Angeles Rams preseason game last week.

Daily Diversion

I heard Duke was ranked pretty high in preseason hoops. Mr. Stackhouse, what say you?
