Keepin' It McCool

Marie McCool and the U.S. women's national lacrosse team won their second gold medal of the summer with a win over Canada in the World Games in Poland. Carolina's Marie McCool had a goal and an assist in the 11-8 victory.

The win follows the team's victory in the FIL Women's World Cup just nine days ago.

The Carolina Panthers' Mike Adams, 36, says his teammates don't need to look at his bio, nor that of returning Panther Julius Peppers, 37. Just watch them on the field.

Adams Stands Out

Jordyn Adams, the son of Carolina defensive line coach Deke and a football and baseball commit in the class of 2018, had the walk-off winner in the 11th inning of the Under Armour All-America game. Story by former Daily Tar Heel scribe Carlos Collazo.
