While it's a cold and cloudy day in Chapel Hill, the future of UNC basketball appears warm and bright.
Three commits in the Class of 2018 - Rechon "Leaky" Black, Nassir Little and Coby White - officially signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Tar Heels.
"These three young men make my staff and me feel very fortunate and pleased with this class," Roy Williams said in a statement.
Williams called Black (of Concord, N.C.) a "versatile player" whose greatest skill is his understanding of the game, Little (of Orange Park, Fla.) "the total package" of a basketball player and White (of Goldsboro, N.C.) "a complete guard" and "the kind of kid we want have in our basketball program."
The three recruits already make up what some say is the nation's best recruiting class and, with the potential for Williams and his staff to pick up more recruits, could easily be bolstered. In fact, it could create a good problem.
Zion Williamson - arguably the most talented player in the Class of 2018 and good friend of Little - alongside Romeo Langford and Simisola Shittu are major targets in the upcoming class for UNC basketball.
The signings of Black, Little and White, perhaps, signal a changing of the tide as top recruits are no longer weary and cautious of NCAA penalties striking Chapel Hill.
