We have officially made it nine weeks into the NFL regular season, just past the halfway point. Here's how some Pro Heels did this past week:
The Buffalo Bills played at the New York Jets for Thursday Night Football. Jets linebacker Bruce Carter had one tackle before having to leave the game due to a hamstring injury.
The Denver Broncos played the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Mack Hollins had eight receiving yards in the Eagles' 51-23 win over the Broncos.
The Carolina Panthers played at home in Charlotte against the Atlanta Falcons. Julius Peppers had one tackle and one assist in the Panthers' close 20-17 win over the Falcons.
The Washington Redskins at Seattle Seahawks was a Pro Heel matchup between Zach Brown and Naz Jones. Redskins linebacker Zach Brown had eight tackles, three assisted tackles and one sack. Seahawks defensive tackle Naz Jones had one tackle, two assisted tackles and half a sack. The Redskins scored within the last couple of minutes of the game to beat the Seahawks, 17-14.
Kareem Martin had one tackle for the Arizona Cardinals as they beat the San Francisco 49ers, 20-10.
The Tennessee Titans took on the Baltimore Ravens at Nissan Stadium in Tennessee. Titans safety Da’Norris Searcy had one tackle as they defeated the Ravens 23-20.
Los Angeles Rams linebacker Robert Quinn had two assisted tackles in their 51-17 win over the New York Giants. In addition, the Giants have recently promoted Tim Scott due to team injuries, so it will be interesting to see what kind of playing time the defensive back receives in the future.
To round out the week on Monday Night Football, the Detroit Lions played at Green Bay. Eric Ebron had 35 receiving yards on three catches, his second most on the season, in the Lions' 30-16 win.
